This page explains how to delete data that Zanfia (“we”, “us”) has collected about you, including data obtained through your connected Meta accounts (Facebook, Instagram, and the Marketing API).

What data we hold from Meta integrations

When you connect a Meta service to Zanfia, we store:

  • An access token issued by Meta (encrypted at rest)
  • Identifiers for the connected account (e.g. Instagram user ID, Facebook Business ID, Ad Account ID)
  • A copy of content and metrics you have explicitly fetched into Zanfia (e.g. media you have viewed, posts you have published from Zanfia, ad performance reports you have generated)

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties beyond what is required to operate Zanfia (e.g. cloud infrastructure, transactional email).

Option 1 — Disconnect from inside Zanfia (recommended)

This is the fastest path and removes your data immediately.

  1. Sign in at https://app.zanfia.com
  2. Open Settings → Integrations
  3. Find the Meta integration you want to remove (Instagram, Facebook, Meta Ads)
  4. Click Disconnect

When you disconnect, we:

  • Revoke and delete the stored access token
  • Delete the linked account identifiers
  • Delete cached content and reports tied to that integration

This action is irreversible. Reconnecting later starts a fresh authorization.

Option 2 — Revoke access from Meta

You can also revoke Zanfia’s access from your Meta account directly:

  • Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → remove Zanfia
  • Instagram: Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → remove Zanfia
  • Meta Business Suite: Business Settings → Integrations → remove Zanfia

When Meta notifies us of the revocation, we delete the corresponding data on our side as described above.

Option 3 — Email request

If you cannot access your Zanfia account, email business@zanfia.com from the email address registered to your Zanfia account with the subject line “Data deletion request”.

Please include:

  • The Zanfia account email
  • The Meta account(s) the request applies to (if any)

We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR Article 17 (Right to Erasure).

Deleting your entire Zanfia account

If you want to delete your full Zanfia account (not just a Meta integration):

  1. Sign in at https://app.zanfia.com
  2. Open Settings → Account → Delete Account

Or email business@zanfia.com with the subject “Account deletion request”.

Data we may retain

We may retain limited data after deletion when legally required, for example:

  • Billing and invoice records (kept for the period required by Polish tax law)
  • Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify you
  • Records necessary to defend or pursue legal claims

These records are not used for any operational purpose and are deleted once the legal basis ends.
