You drag several recordings into the course at once and each one becomes a lesson, in a new module if you want. You change the order by dragging, across modules too. On an empty course you can ask AI for an outline: modules and lesson titles arrive as drafts to edit.

A lesson can be a recording you upload to Zanfia, a video from YouTube, Vimeo or another platform, an audio recording, an article or a quiz. You paste links to many videos at once and each becomes a lesson. You attach files from your media library to a lesson, such as a PDF workbook.

You order a transcript in one click for a lesson or a whole module, and in the settings you can turn it on for every new recording. From the transcript AI prepares chapters and key moments, and captions are added to the video on their own. Captions in other languages you upload from a file.

Quiz questions from what the lesson says.
You generate questions from the lesson content, edit them your way and set a pass mark. An AI quiz comes from one lesson, a module or the whole course, and each question shows the minute of the recording it comes from. The server checks the answers, so students can’t peek at them in the browser.

The next module opens when its time comes.
A module or a single lesson can open on a set date, a few days after someone joins the course, or only after they pass a quiz. A locked lesson never reaches the student at all, so nobody gets around the lock with a link. Students see how many days until they get access.

The player remembers where someone stopped, on another device too. Under the video there are chapters, lesson files and notes students can pin to a moment in the recording. A lesson is marked complete when the recording ends, and the next one can start on its own.

If you turn on the "Ask the course" tab in a course, students ask a question next to the lesson, and AI answers from the transcripts and text of your lessons, with the source: the lesson and the minute of the recording. When the course doesn’t cover something, the assistant says so plainly instead of guessing.

Questions, answered
Do you take a commission on my course sales?
No. Zanfia takes 0% of every transaction on every plan. You only pay your payment provider’s standard fee.
Is video hosting included?
Yes. You upload your files to Zanfia and we take care of playback on every device. Starter includes 50 GB for videos and files, and YouTube and Vimeo videos embed without using any space.
Are transcripts created automatically?
If you want them to be: in the settings you turn on a transcript for every uploaded recording. By default you order it yourself, for a lesson or a whole module. Transcription hours count toward your plan’s allowance.
Can students learn on their phones?
Yes. The course works in the phone browser and in the Zanfia app for iOS and Android, and progress is the same on every device.
Can I move my course from another platform?
Yes. Upload your recordings in bulk and bring your student list over from a CSV file. Existing students get access without buying again. From the Growth plan we move your list from your email tool for you.
